This study shows that foliar calcium (CaCl₂) application significantly improves both yield and nutritional quality in waxy maize. It enhances photosynthesis, increases ear size and weight, and boosts key nutrients including sugars, protein, iron, zinc, and calcium, demonstrating a practical strategy for crop biofortification and productivity improvement.
